carolyn was born in knowsley, merseyside in 1961 and studied at st helens colllege of art and design,
she now lives in glossop, derbyshire with her partner of 16 years, russell.
her work is mainly figurative and portraiture and having lived and worked in several different countries she takes inspiration from her second favourite pastime of people watching, prefering to catch people 'inconnu', unawares. she works mostly in pastel and also charcoal..
she has exhibited in ireland, france and the uk
